DaBead™ Magnetic bead is a product developed for nucleic acid purification by coating the surface of Super Paramagnetic Nanoparticle with silica. It allows for convenient nucleic acid extraction based on the principle that nucleic acid specifically binds to the surface of small magnetic beads. There are magnetic beads for DNA and RNA in different sizes.

∮110 bead is a silica coated magnetic particle suitable for purification of plasmid DNA or PCR product.

The small 110 nm magnetic bead(∮110) has an optimized silica-like surface chemistry and a high specific surface area, providing efficient kinetics and a high sensitivety in small size nucleic acid capture such as plasmid DNA, PCR product and cell free DNA.

120 nm or 200 nm magnetic bead(∮120 or ∮200) is suitable for purification of genomic DNA or RNA.

In order to effectively extract large and viscous nucleic acids, larger size magnetic nanoparticles are advantageous.
